Are we using transponders like the Palmy ones for teams? or are the different from them? If so could you please post up some pics so can get an idea on where to mount them and how big they are if have to make a braket/mount up.
Cheers

Cheers As per Rolly's reply they are the same size as the ones from Hawkes Bay Here is the fake transponder from associated that is the same size and it's the best pic i have at the moment 67.199.85.166/main/productdetails.php?text=3968they measure 31.5x35.5and a 7mm mounting stud it the past i have used a piece of plastic with a 8mm hole in it a small piece of foam stuck to the plastic and with the 8mm hole in it zip tyed to the frame rails INSIDE the rollcage. also it should be noted as per past meetings if the transponder is in the roof, bonnet or outside the frame rails where it is not protected you will not pass scrutineering. Here are some acceptable outside the frame rail mounts

Hi Shrek,
Probably talked about somewhere on the forum but we are just wanting to know if your lapcounting system will support the AMBRC personal transponders..?
If so, do you want a list of the ones that the Scrapper and Stormer teams would be using before we come down..?
Cheers, Aaron

Hi Aaron, yes the lapscoring is ambrc3 and it supports personals. Please email them to me and i will pass it on to the Race Director to programe them in. burnouts@paradise.net.nz and on that note, to mount your personal, place it in as clear position as you can. mine sits in the nose of my tank.
